  • Be it at work, with their relationships or with their health, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, stressed, lacking purpose or lonely, struggling with self-defeating beliefs (e.g. “I’m not enough”, “I’m not good enough”, “I’ll never find love”, “I’m not worthy”) and behaviours (e.g. isolation, avoidance, overthinking, addictive behaviour). New beginnings, transition phases, stagnation periods and facing crossroads can be a part of the bigger picture. 


  • Yet some people intuit this belief is holding them back and feel the need for external support. Commonly clients first struggle with their challenges on their own for some time. When they see little to no improvement, they try approaching it differently and turn to coaching. In hindsight they often describe the decision to seek help outside of themselves as the catalyst for positive transformation in their lives.

  • As much as I love wizards, I am not one. My “magic” comes in form of perspective-changing conversations, contained with love and care, as well as imparting tools, technics and skills with my clients. For some people assignments make a lot of sense. In the time between our sessions you will take charge of your life as you’ll complete the tasks that we have agreed on in our sessions. Indeed, personal development and growth is work just like any other type of work.

    My experience has taught me that working with the right tools - meaning those that are right for you - you’ll notice how all of a sudden it becomes much easier to get where you want to go in achieving your goals.
My approach is that this process doesn’t have to be hard work. I live by the motto “progress not perfection”. This allows transformational work to be enjoyable work.

psychological counseling

  • In some cases, counselling can also focus on resolving immediate issues or addressing specific problems, such as identity challenges, difficulties with self-worth and self-esteem, relationships conflicts, sexuality related topics, out-of-control behaviours, grief and loss, stress management and life-imbalances. 


  • These are Systemic Therapy, Psychosocial Counselling and Positive Psychology. Among other approaches that inform my work are Intersectionality and Social Privilege Theory, Resilience Training, Unlearning, the 12 Steps, Mindfulness and Body-centred counselling. This multifocal lens lets me lead counselling that recognises the intricate relationship between psychological well-being and social factors. 


  • This allows us to understand and authentically relate to each other as well as build trust more easily, find inspiration, value and meaning in our shared experience. I don’t shy away from sharing my own personal story with my clients, so that they may benefit from the insights and knowledge I've acquired through my experience of dealing with hardships and overcoming all sorts of challenges and struggles.

    I receive clients in my practice in Cologne, Germany. Out-of-town and international clients can participate in sessions from the comfort of their home.
